Maria Rosa Costanzo, MD

Dr. Maria Rosa Costanzo is a cardiologist at Midwest Cardiovascular Institute in Naperville. Dr. Costanzo earned her doctorate at Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia in Bologna, Italy. Her internal medicine residency was completely at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. She completed a fellowship in cardiology at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

Dr. Costanzo is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. She is a fellow the American College of Physicians, the American Heart Association, the AHA Council on Clinical Cardiology, and the European Society of Cardiology. She is also a member of the American College of Cardiology, the Italian National Medical Professional Association, the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, the American Medical Association and the Chicago Medical Society.

Dr. Costanzo has been published in more than 275 abstracts and papers on a variety of topics, including advanced heart failure. She is also fluent in English, Italian, French and Spanish.
