Stan Skaluba, MD

Dr. Stan Skaluba is an interventional cardiologist at Midwest Cardiovascular Institute in Naperville.

Dr. Skaluba earned his Doctor of Medicine at Jagiellonian University Medical School in Krakow, Poland.

He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology, and interventional cardiology. He is the co-medical director at Edward Heart Hospital Center for Advanced Heart Failure. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of many professional organizations including the Heart Failure Society of America, the American Heart Association, and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.

Dr. Skaluba has a particular interest and expertise in advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, CardioMEMS, hemodynamics of short-term percutaneous mechanical circulatory assist devices and interventional cardiology. He has also served as a sub-investigator for more than 20 research trials and has contributed to numerous publications and abstracts.
