Tony DeMartini, MD

Dr. Tony DeMartini is an interventional cardiologist at Midwest Cardiovascular Institute in Naperville.

Dr. DeMartini graduated cum laude from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He attended Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois where he earned his doctorate. He also completed a Master of Business Administration through Kaplan University.

His residency in internal medicine and pediatrics was completed at Loyola University Medical Center, where he also completed his fellowship in adult cardiology and interventional adult cardiology. He was named both chief fellow and interventional chief fellow of the department of cardiology.

Dr. DeMartini has practiced cardiology since 1996. He specializes in the treatment of chronic total occlusions, when the coronary artery is completely blocked, needing specialized treatment to be opened. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
