Uday Patel, DO

Dr. Uday Patel is a cardiologist at Endeavor Health for Midwest Cardiovascular Institute in Naperville. His primary focus in comprehensive inpatient cardiovascular care.

Dr. Patel attended Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2012 followed by a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa in 2017. He completed his residency in internal medicine in 2020 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Illinois where he was named Chief Resident. At the same location, he completed his fellowship training in 2023 in cardiovascular disease which included exposure to advanced cardiac imaging at Loyola University Medical Center as well as exposure to advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at the University of Chicago.

He is nationally board certified in internal medicine and adult echocardiography. He is board eligible for cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and cardiac computed tomography. 

Dr. Patel has contributed to numerous research publications and presentations. He has an interest in teaching, quality improvement, leadership, and volunteer work. He also has personal interests in traveling, cycling, skiing, cars, outer space exploration, and technology.
