Heather McLeland, MSN, APN, AGACNP-BC, is a dedicated Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a focus on cardiovascular services. With a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, where she graduated with honors, Heather has built a distinguished career in advanced cardiac care. Currently, she leads the inpatient cardiovascular services team at Midwest Cardiovascular Institute, providing expert care for patients with complex cardiac conditions and overseeing the onboarding of new providers. Her extensive experience includes managing structural heart and VAD patients at Edward Hospital and delivering critical care in various specialized units. Heather’s commitment to excellence is reflected in her numerous awards, certifications, and leadership roles, underscoring her vital contributions to the team.
